Letter marks

A suggested reading, ready to review.

Designed for standard Arabic. Names, grammar and ambiguous words can have more than one reading; dialect accuracy varies. Edit the output directly, or select a single letter and adjust its marks below the result before using it.

Powered by the MIT-licensed Ichkil model and ONNX Runtime. Processing assets load from Good Tools; no text is uploaded. Existing marks are replaced. Reading mode omits short vowel marks at the end of every word and keeps shadda.

A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Compare two suggested readings before copying the text

Use a short standard-Arabic passage to compare Full vocalization with Reading · omit word-final vowels. Keep the unmarked original and inspect both outputs in context. Automatic vowel marks provide a suggested reading; edit them before using the result.

  1. Paste ذهب الطالب إلى المدرسة. followed by هذا كتاب جديد. into Paste an Arabic text.
  2. Choose Full vocalization and select Add vowel marks. Wait for the first model load and save the exact output.
  3. Repeat from the same original with Reading · omit word-final vowels. Compare the changed marks without assuming grammatical correctness.
  4. Edit the result after review, then use Copy text or Download .txt.

Keep in mind

  • Automatic marks are a suggested reading; review grammar and ambiguous words in context.
  • Reading mode mechanically omits word-final short vowels and retains shadda. It does not identify only optional grammatical endings.
