Requests addressed to you

Clair brings direct requests and their stated deadlines together.

Select a request to read its source.

Clair does the sorting.

Choose the inbox. Clair prepares the view. You decide what to do next.

From incoming emails to a clear brief. Automatically.
  1. Connect your inbox

Sign in to Clair, then authorise access to your email. Choose the mailbox you want to organise.

  2. Let Clair analyse it

Clair identifies requests, explicit dates and replies you’re waiting for. Human conversations and automated emails appear separately.

  3. Read your brief

See what needs your attention, check the original messages and get on with your work.

Your inbox. Your rules.

Automatic organisation should make your day easier. You choose which changes Clair can make to your mailbox.

Check the source
Read the original passage behind a request or date before acting on it.
Correct the classification
Adjust a category or conversation status when Clair gets the context wrong.
Choose your automations
Mailbox rules have an explicit scope and must be enabled by you. You can pause them.

Your emails. Your choice.

Know what stays on your device and what Clair stores when you connect an inbox.

Local import stays in your browser.

Your .eml and .mbox files are read in this tab. Their contents are not sent to our server or an AI service. Imported messages stay in tab memory; reloading clears them. Browser preferences can remain saved.

Use local import

Connected mode uses server storage.

Clair stores a message index, excerpts used in your brief, preferences and corrections to run your account. Stored mailbox access credentials are encrypted. This mode is not entirely local.

Retention: data remains until you erase it. No general automatic deletion schedule is currently guaranteed.

You can export or erase your Clair data.

Your account has controls to export its data or erase its active Clair data. This does not delete emails held by your mail provider. Disconnecting an inbox and erasing account data are separate actions.

A few useful answers.

What happens automatically, what stays in your hands, and what the beta supports today.

Is the sorting automatic?

Yes. Clair classifies the conversations it analyses and builds the brief. You can review and correct the result. The current connected beta runs read only and does not move, send or delete your emails.

Which inboxes can I use?

Gmail is available in the beta. IMAP access depends on the supported mail server. Google Workspace can require your organisation’s approval. Outlook is not available yet.

You can also import .eml or .mbox files locally without connecting an inbox.

Can I check Clair’s suggestions?

Each brief item links back to its source. Clair can miss context or misclassify a conversation, so review important requests and deadlines. Missing context and unanalysed attachments are indicated in the product.

What about my email data?

Connected mode requires a Clair account and separate permission to access your mailbox. Local import reads an export in your browser tab and does not change your live inbox. Read the privacy policy for details.

Is Clair free?

The current beta is free and has no active payment flow. It is still being validated. Analysis coverage, provider support and scheduled daily execution have limits; availability is described inside the product.
