The service

Good Tools provides access to Clair and the existing Lean Metrics product. Clair is an import beta for .eml / .mbox files. Gmail / Outlook access and payments are not enabled. Features and limits are described on each tool’s page.

Browser utilities

Only process files and content you are authorized to use. Results depend on browser capabilities and the source file. Keep originals and check outputs before sharing.

Image conversion may discard metadata and transparency. PDF image modes remove selectable text, links, forms and accessibility tags; rewriting can invalidate signatures. PDF to Slides creates page-image slides, not editable document reconstruction. Native Keynote output is not generated: PPTX files can be opened and saved in Keynote.

Video Convert supports small clips within the displayed file and time limits. Unsupported codecs or memory limits can prevent conversion. QR codes are static and depend on the content or destination you encode. There is no tracking, dynamic redirect or expiry service.

Using files

Only import messages you are authorized to process. The beta accepts up to 100 files and 500 messages, with 2 MB per .eml file and 20 MB per .mbox file. Sorting and expense detection use rules and may be incomplete.

Keeping control

A receipt does not prove a subscription is active. Check amounts and billing periods with the service. Cleaning the view does not delete emails in your mailbox. Unsubscribing from a newsletter does not cancel a paid service.

Plus features are coming later. Every AI summary or draft must be checked against its source passages. Clair never sends messages automatically.

Plans and availability

Clair Free is free during the beta. No Plus plan is sold in this version. Lean Metrics terms are those shown in its existing product. Continuous availability is not promised during the beta.
