Video Convert
Convert small MPG, MOV, WebM or AVI clips to MP4 on your device.
Browser beta · one clip up to 60 MB · 3-minute processing limit. Desktop recommended. Unsupported codecs may fail.
Before you start
Exports MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio. Conversion is real encoding, not a file rename. Browser processing can be slower than a desktop converter and depends on available memory.
The engine is downloaded only when you start. Good Tools retrieves the pinned public engine from jsDelivr; your video stays in this tab. No paid service or account is used. Use Cancel to stop processing. Large videos, DRM-protected media and native Keynote files are not supported.
A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Convert a small clip to MP4 and check the saved result
Start with Try a sample and allow the conversion engine to load. After encoding, save the MP4 and play it from start to finish. A file extension does not establish codec compatibility, and a completed export does not by itself prove that another player can open the file.
- Select Try a sample →, then choose quality and maximum height.
- Allow the public conversion engine to load through Good Tools; the video is processed in this tab.
- Select Convert to MP4, then download the saved result.
- Play the complete file and check its picture, duration and any audio before using it.
Use Try a sample → before choosing your own file. Save the resulting MP4 and check its duration, picture and any source audio. A source without audio cannot demonstrate audio preservation.
Keep in mind
- Desktop browser beta: one clip up to 60 MB and a three-minute processing limit. Unsupported codecs may fail.
- The conversion engine is downloaded when needed. Keep your source and check actual output playback.
