QR Code Generator
Create a static QR code for a link, text or Wi-Fi access.
Static QR codes · PNG and SVG exports · black on white for legibility. Content stays in this tab.
Before you start
There is no redirect service, subscription or expiry imposed by Good Tools. A link QR code stops being useful if its destination changes or disappears.
Scan the code before printing. Keep the white quiet zone intact. Anyone who scans a Wi-Fi code can recover its credentials; share it only with intended recipients.
A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Create a static Wi-Fi QR code and check the exported file
Use fictional credentials to learn the workflow. A Wi-Fi QR code contains the network details directly, so anyone who can scan it can recover them. Download SVG for print scaling or PNG for a fixed-size image, then test the exported file while preserving the white quiet zone.
- Choose Wi-Fi network under What should the QR code contain?
- Enter Network name (SSID) GoodTools-Demo-Guest and Wi-Fi password demo-only-12345. Choose WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 and leave Hidden network off.
- Select Generate QR code ↗ and download both SVG and PNG.
- Decode or scan the actual exported files and compare the details. This fictional example does not create or connect to a real network.
| Demo setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Network name | GoodTools-Demo-Guest |
| Security | WPA / WPA2 / WPA3 |
| Fictional password | demo-only-12345 |
| Hidden network | No |
| Exports checked | 512 × 512 PNG and SVG; both decode the same fictional payload |
Keep in mind
- These network details are fictional. Anyone who scans a Wi-Fi code can recover the credentials it contains.
- A static code has no Good Tools redirect or imposed expiry; changed network details still require a new code.
