PDF to Slides
Turn PDF pages into a PowerPoint presentation you can open in Keynote.
One PDF · up to 25 MB and 40 pages. Output: .pptx, one page per slide. Files stay in this tab.
Before you start
This preserves the rendered page appearance. Text inside the page image is not editable, and PDF links, forms, video and animations are not carried over. There is no OCR or AI reconstruction.
PDF → Keynote: download the PPTX, open it in Keynote, then save as a Keynote presentation. PPTX → Keynote: open your existing PPTX in Keynote and save it as .key. Good Tools does not generate native .key files or convert arbitrary PPTX layouts in the browser.

A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Use PDF pages as picture slides in a presentation
This workflow places one rendered PDF page on each slide. It preserves the chosen page appearance rather than rebuilding editable text or objects. Start with Try a sample, then inspect small text after conversion. You can add new text boxes in a presentation editor, but the text inside each page image remains part of that image.
- Select Try a sample →, or choose a supported PDF.
- Confirm that slides contain page images, choose a resolution and select Create presentation.
- Download PowerPoint, open the PPTX in Keynote and review the page order and appearance.
- Add new slide objects if needed; the original PDF text remains inside the page image.
The built-in two-page example produced a two-slide PPTX (640,888 bytes), with one page image on each slide. The file opened in Keynote. This preserves the page appearance, not editable original PDF objects.
Keep in mind
- Each slide contains a page image. Original PDF text and objects are not separately editable.
- Up to 25 MB and 40 pages. No OCR, preserved PDF links or native .key export.
